Please join the Starlight Symphony Orchestra for a lively and spirited performance as it celebrates another outstanding season. The theme “play and charity” accentuates festivity and highlights the beauty of giving the gift of music in an engaging and fun filled atmosphere. Two dances sweep us off our feet with Ravel’s famous work, “Bolero,” and “Dance of the Hours,” from La Gioconda by Ponchielli. Gamers are sure to be enthralled by “Video Games Live” with featured themes from Halo, Civilization IV, Bounty Hunter, and Kingdom Hearts. A delightful march, “Service Dogs,” by J.C.Sherman honors man’s best friend and the abilities they provide. Last, but certainly not least, a new work called “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is sure to please movie fans and critics alike. Included in the program is a performance by the Dripping Springs Orchestra Club.
